Burgolarm Security Products was formed in 1969 and was the first Irish owned security company to operate in the Munster area. In the early days the company concentrated primarily on the installation and maintenance of intruder alarm systems. The company established its self, with strong growth in the commercial, residential and industrial sectors and quickly gained a reputation for quality installations and after sales service in the industry. By the early 90s, Burgolarm became market leader in the installation and maintenance of CCTV and access control systems. Following continued customer demand for ever improving systems, the decision was made to enter the rapidly expanding automation sector of the market. Burgolarm quickly became one of Irelands leading names for the installation and maintenance of automatic gates, doors and traffic control barriers.

Access control, C.C.T.V, Fire Detection, in addition to Automatic Gates, Doors and Barriers all play a vital role in a professionally engineered security package.

Burgolarm is partnered with a Monitoring Central Station control, which is manned on a 24 hour basis 365 days a year, monitoring everything from CCTV systems, intruder and fire alarm systems to remote plant systems (facilities, power, temperature, pressure, fluid levels and gasses).

Employing over 30 staff, the company has its headquarters, at the Kinsale road Commercial Centre in Cork.

The company operates from a modern 7,500sq foot premises, which incorporates an extensive showroom & meeting rooms for customers to see the extensive range of security products at first hand in an informative environment.

Today, the Burgolarm is synonymous with quality installations and reliable, efficient after sales service. Qualified and competent technical personnel are on-duty at all times. In recognition of this dedication to excellence Burgolarm gained ISO9001:2000 accreditation in 2002.
